Concert Welcomes New General Manager, Kolby Yarnell
Kolby Yarnell has joined Concert, taking on the role of General Manager.
He will be responsible for the success of the Concert business: overseeing strategy for new business, sales, publisher relationships, and operations. Kolby was previously Vice President of Branded Content at Adweek, where he founded an in-house custom studio and partnered with brands such as Adobe, Facebook, Accenture Interactive, and IBM, among others. Prior to joining Adweek, Kolby spent a decade as an editor and writer and has contributed to publications including the New York Times and New York magazine.
At Concert, Kolby takes on the General Manager position, reporting into Vice President of Revenue Operations and previous General Manager, Ryan Pauley. Kolby’s experience in branded content at Adweek was especially interesting for us at Concert. It is evident he knows the importance of distribution with both quality and scale and we are excited to bring his informed perspective to the Concert business.
“Last year I spent a lot of time looking for a better way to distribute branded content on behalf of my clients. All the options involved a compromise in either reach or quality—except, that is, for Concert,” says Kolby Yarnell. “Concert's combination of creative capabilities and massive scale achieved on, and only on, a portfolio of premium, brand-safe publishers truly is a better way—and one that advertisers need now more than ever, in fact. I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to join the amazing Concert team, and I look forward to all the great work we'll do together.”
Ryan remains VP of Revenue Operations at Vox Media overseeing revenue strategy across all lines of business.
